The process of research begins in the fall of each academic year, when our research team searches for nonprofits aligned with DCivitas’ mission. We select five nonprofit organizations to work with closely over the year. Each R&D member works with the nonprofit to understand the ins and outs of the organization, as well as the particular ways in which DCivitas can be resourceful. DCivitas is focused on individual attention to ensure every partnership is a success.

In addition to developing relationships with future nonprofit partners, the development team plans professional development events and manages relationships with past consulting partners.
