The Miriam’s Kitchen team utilizes a comprehensive approach to eliminating the housing crisis in Washington, D.C. Through engaging with guests with healthy, made-from-scratch meals, they connect them with personalized social services that assist them with re-building their lives.

COMMUNITY FORKLIFT

Community Forklift reduces waste and promotes a healthier environment by reclaiming and redistributing used and surplus materials. As a nonprofit reuse warehouse, they collect donations of building materials and home essentials, providing them to the community through free giving programs.

ECOAGRICULTURE PARTNERS

EcoAgriculture Partners works to advance sustainable landscapes for biodiversity, climate resilience, and human well-being. They work to bring together communities, governments, and businesses to balance ecological, economic, and social goals in landscapes worldwide, fostering collaboration across sectors to improve land-use practices and policies.

Friendship Place provides housing services for people experiencing homelessness in the Washington DC region. Their innovative, customized, person-focused programs produce demonstrative and lasting results. They empower our participants to rebuild their lives, find homes, get jobs, and reconnect with friends, family, and the community, permanently.
